Abbreviated ENS. A software product based on Banyan Systems' StreetTalk Directory Service for VINES that brings global directory service features to other networks. ENS includes StreetTalk Directory Assistance, the Banyan Security Service, and Banyan Network Management. Specific versions of ENS are available for NovellNetWare, SCOUnix, and HP-UXso that servers running those operating systems can interoperate and share management in a network with VINES servers.
